Select drivetrain topology and cable routing; design cooling systems for motors, inverters and batteries; participate in in-house SiC-MOSFET inverter development; contribute to next-generation high-speed motor design.

Define battery requirements; select cells and design the 600 V battery pack from cell level up; design a lightweight structural enclosure; co-develop the BMS; run cell, module and pack-level tests to validate the design.

Define the vehicle electronics architecture; design PCBs for ECUs, BMS, and dashboard nodes; bring up hardware and debug CAN networks; develop embedded firmware in C with Model-Based Design toolboxes.

Develop suspension, steering, braking, and wheel systems; build vehicle dynamics models in VI-Grade/CarSim; design active torque vectoring and energy recovery algorithms for 4WD; calibrate chassis parameters on track using time-series data analysis.

Design and optimize DIAN Racing's carbon-fibre monocoque: model geometry, perform composite laminate simulations to minimize weight, conduct coupon tests, coordinate full-vehicle assembly, and plan future autonomous-vehicle hardware layouts.

Lead the design and CFD simulation of all aerodynamic packages (wings, diffuser, sidepods); compare multi-component configurations across different scenarios; manufacture composite aero parts; plan and execute functional and performance validation tests.

Design driver restraint systems meeting FSAE safety regulations; develop and crash-test composite impact-absorbing structures; create ergonomic cockpit HMI; design high-voltage safety systems for the electric powertrain.

Develop perception & mapping (cone detection, SLAM), path planning & decision making, and motion control for the driverless Formula Student car; build simulation environments; port algorithms to the vehicle compute platform; conduct on-car testing.

Develop steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems for the driverless car: mechanical design, electric actuator control (embedded HW+SW), build a hardware-in-the-loop test rig, and conduct on-car integration tests. Future scope includes active suspension and rear-wheel steering.

Own the team's visual identity: manage brand assets, design promotional materials (posters, videos, handbooks), plan and execute events such as trade shows and campus roadshows, and deliver the Business Report presentation at FSAE competitions.

Maintain relationships with 80+ partner companies including Porsche and Schaeffler, develop new sponsorship channels, coordinate joint activities and events, control marketing budgets, and deliver the Business Report at competitions.

Handle personnel records, project management tools (custom-built), team finances, workshop management, and team-building activities. Also build and maintain the team's time-series database for engineering data analysis, and deliver the Cost Report at competitions.
