FAQ
Do I need prior motorsport experience?
No. Most members had zero Formula Student experience before joining.
What year can I join?
We welcome students from Year 1 onwards. Many leads joined as freshmen.
How much time does it require?
Roughly 10–20 hours/week during build season, less during competition prep.
Can I join from a non-engineering department?
Yes! We have members from design, business, and CS. Operations roles are always open.
