On November 14, in the 2020 Formula Student Electric China, the Tongji University electric racing team DIAN Racing, sponsored by Schaeffler for many years, stood out from over a hundred university teams and won the championship. This is the first time the team has won this competition, a milestone for the team.
Since 2015, Schaeffler has been providing strong product and technical support to DIAN Racing, such as bearing products and their load and life calculations, racing technology exchange and guidance, etc. Schaeffler leverages its strengths, outstanding products, and technology to provide strong support for the team’s preparation and final competition each season, helping the team build comprehensive strength.
As one of the top-level sponsors of the team, Schaeffler has accompanied the team’s continuous progress over the years and witnessed the team’s growing strength. At the Chinese competition, DIAN Racing won first place in “Vehicle Design” for four consecutive years and successfully defended the “Acceleration” champion this year. In 2020, the team won the overall championship of Formula Student Electric China, achieving first place in four events: “Vehicle Design, Acceleration, Best Battery Box Design, and Electrical System Design Online Competition.”
The rich and diverse results are the outcome of DIAN Racing’s insistence on innovation and fearlessness, as well as a testament to Schaeffler’s fulfillment of corporate social responsibility, and a commitment and persistence to future drive technologies.

Formula Student Electric China
Formula Student China (abbreviated as “China FSC”) is an automotive design and manufacturing competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of China, in which university students majoring in automotive engineering or related fields participate in teams. The competition includes 8 events in static and dynamic categories. The overall champion, runner-up, and third place are determined based on total scores, comprehensively assessing students’ automotive engineering design capabilities and levels.
