On November 23, the 2025 Formula Student Electric China (FSEC) and Formula Student Autonomous China (FSAC) concluded at Luogang Central Park in Hefei. This year’s event attracted over 5,000 participants from 129 teams across Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and other regions, including 94 FSEC teams and 35 FSAC teams. Among them, DIAN Racing of Tongji University achieved an outstanding national runner-up finish!
Event Introduction
FSEC is a cradle for top talents in China’s automotive industry and is widely recognized as one of the most technically challenging and competitive undergraduate automotive competitions in the country. It requires student teams to independently design, manufacture, and test a high-performance single-seat formula racing car within one year. The competition not only comprehensively evaluates dynamic performance such as acceleration, braking, and handling but also rigorously assesses static events including overall design, cost control, and business presentation. FSEC serves as a benchmark for future automotive engineers and industry leaders, with its awards carrying significant authority and influence, measuring a university’s comprehensive strength in vehicle engineering, mechanics, electronics, and management.

Project Introduction
The competing car is the team’s latest electric formula car, embodying cutting-edge exploration and technological innovation in lightweight design, electric drive system optimization, and vehicle dynamics control. It represents a perfect blend of performance and reliability, vividly demonstrating the spirit of “rowing together in the same boat” on the racetrack.
Additionally, DIAN Racing won the National First Prize, First Place in Acceleration, Second Place in Vehicle Design, and Third Place in Lightweight Award at FSEC, as well as the National Second Prize and Best System Design Award at FSAC. Huang Zihao of DIAN Racing was honored as the Best Manager for the 2025 NIO Award.
