On November 19, the competition entered a critical stage with unprecedented challenges. From early morning to late evening, all team members were operating at a high-intensity pace. Let’s look back at the Day 2 stories from the paddock.

Gathering at Dawn, Setting the Stage
As the morning glow first appeared, the team members arrived on time, blending into the dawn light at the venue.

Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony officially kicked off at the presentation area. All participating teams stood in orderly rows, and the atmosphere was solemn yet spirited. After the brief ceremony, the members of DIAN Racing’s electric and driverless teams quickly switched gears and plunged into the intense competition rhythm.

Cost Report
The electric team successfully passed the cost report. This segment is an important test of a team’s resource management capabilities, covering the cost report, case analysis, and judge Q&A. The entire process was efficient and smooth, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent competition phases.

Design Event
The preliminary design event was an important review of the team’s achievements. Members from both the electric and driverless teams were fully focused and responded calmly—each nod, each page turn bore witness to the countless refinements and iterations over the past year.

Team Photo
After completing the staged tasks, the driverless team took a group photo. This photo is a badge of honor for every member, and the best testament to their shoulder-to-shoulder effort.

Mechanical Inspection
In the afternoon, the electric team engaged in the crucial mechanical inspection. Every measurement and every confirmation was detail-oriented, leaving no room for error. Ultimately, with efficient teamwork, the members responded calmly and passed the mechanical inspection on time. At that moment, all the tension was released, and every effort received the best reward.

Driverless Vehicle Battery Box Repair
At night, the driverless team members were still debugging and repairing the driverless vehicle’s battery box to ensure the car faces the challenge in optimal condition.
It was a fulfilling day where the entire team raced against time. From the opening ceremony to successfully completing the preliminary design event, from capturing the celebratory moment to passing the mechanical inspection, every task was solidly completed step by step, steadily advancing toward the official race. Tomorrow, the team will sprint toward new goals with full force!
