On October 11, 2024, Bossard, as the vehicle fastener sponsor of DIAN Racing, was invited to join other sponsor representatives and faculty and students of Tongji University at the New Energy Engineering Center on Tongji University’s Jiading Campus to witness the launch of DIAN Racing’s “Lightning Thunder” DRe24.
Since 2017, Bossard has continuously sponsored DIAN Racing of Tongji University. As the team’s vehicle fastener sponsor, Bossard provides a full range of fastening solutions, such as high-strength fastener anti-loosening solutions, fluid sealing solutions, and surface treatment solutions for mechanical fasteners, covering the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), Battery Management System (BMS), Motor Control Unit (MCU), and multiple chassis connection structures. This provides strong support for the race car’s lightweight design and stability.
At the same time, Bossard provides fastener knowledge training for students, fulfilling corporate social responsibility through action!
The launch event consisted of six main segments: University Leader’s Address, Team Captain’s Report, Sponsor Representative’s Address, Technical Introduction, New Car Unveiling, and Group Photo.
Through the team captain’s report and detailed introductions by the technical leads, we learned that during the year’s development of the DRe24, significant improvements were made to the suspension and steering system, braking and wheel-side system, monocoque, high-voltage battery, electric drive system, and low-voltage system, fully showcasing a design philosophy that is “Lighter,” “Faster,” and “More Stable.”
Afterward, everyone moved to the hall outside the conference room to unveil the new car and witness the DRe24 up close.
